Hide and seek anyone?

It’s one thing to look at people and wonder what is going through their minds, but do you ever look at animals and wonder what they are thinking? This photo was taken back in 2005 (in the days before I had a DSLR) at Jungle Adventures, one of central Florida’s oldest attractions.  It’s a 20 acre park where you get to experience close encounters with native and exotic wildlife.  There were alligators everywhere, and they were very photogenic!  This guy in particular seems like he could be thinking so many things with that sneaky little smile on his face.  Here are the first things that came to my mind:

Hide and seek is my specialty.  They will never find me here.

Come on, just a little bit closer.  Gotcha!!!

Once again, I found the best place to bask in the sun before everyone else!!

Mmmmm, you look yummy! I’m practising my camo techniques.  How am I doing?

What do you think is going through his mind?  I can see Suzanne (awindowintothewoods) having fun with this one :).

Sure wish I had a really big Kleenex so I could clean up after I sneezed from sniffing the Everything bagel that last tourist tossed toward me…

“I shouldn’t have eaten that tire. It looked like a donut.” Yes I always wonder what animals think. I’m pretty sure most of them are smarter than me.
