Mystery Photo #110

I can’t believe it!!  I am ashamed of myself, and I’m so afraid that you won’t love me anymore after this :(.  After 109 weeks of non-stop Mystery Photo Friday, I actually forgot to post a picture today.   With Christmas falling midweek, I have been confused as to what day it is, and I didn’t even clue in that it was Friday.  So, because I am such a disappointment to you this week, I am going to make this one really easy for you.  Plus I’m at work so I only have the photos on my phone and photo editing software on my phone LOL.

Well, I guess it could have been worse.  I mean it is still Friday, so I really haven’t ruined my record now have I?  Let’s see how your brain cells are functioning after all the craziness of Christmas.  Ok, ready, set, go…..

WHERE IS EVERYBODY?????? you’d think it was christmas or something. lol..especially with the turkey picture above. where are all the guesses. they must be very angry with you Cindy. i am the only one who forgives you. ♥

  2. I’ll be honest, I’d not noticed your absence even though we talked earlier in the day I’d not twigged it was Friday either. Because Irene said turkey I’m going to say chicken. Don’t work too hard xx

    • Good, that makes me feel better that I’m not the only one losing track of the days. I guess it’s a normal Christmastime occurrence :). About an hour more and then I’m off until Jan. 6th. Yayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

  3. TBM says:

Dude where’s your dedication! Is today Friday? And the photo, Mike sent you for a facial. How sweet.

    • Yup, Friday all day long, and your guess had me laughing out loud at the office once again. I think I just scared the only other person working here today :). If she was napping at her desk, she’s not anymore.

      • TBM says:

Sounds like you may need another facial so you’ll stop scaring people. Try wearing some makeup–I hear that helps. And run a comb through your hair.

      • I gave up on makeup years ago. It’s just a pain because when my allergies are bad I rub my eyes and then smudge my makeup. And I’m too lazy to take it off at night LOL!!

      • Mrs BC is not a fan of makeup either which suits me down to the ground as I’m too impatient to wait for its application. She’s a very sensible and practical woman and that’s why I love her. She also hates shopping and has less shoes than me.

      • I like shopping but not for makeup or clothes – it has to be electronics or books!! 🙂

      • I dragged her into town today as she needed a new handbag (desperately) yet it took her less than 10 minutes and one shop choosing the first one she looked at. She also needs new shoes as the ones she wears everyday hurt her feet like crazy but she refused to even go into a shoe shop as she’d had enough for one day. Her repulsion for shopping is inspiring.

      • LOL – you sound perfectly matched 🙂

  4. a turkey before it is cooked – now I am going to look at the other answers — I had a comment before that said it looked like the moon that your alien friends take you too – but it did not show up–I must have forgotten to post

I here ya on the day… Yesterday, I went downstairs, turned the TV on looking for football as I thought it was Sunday!

  6. Two turkeys side by side ready to hit the oven. I may have just been wishing out loud. Our family all served beef at all of our Christmas parties this year so there were no day-after super delicious cold turkey sandwiches with stuffing and cranberry sauce. Boohoo!

  7. Good morning blogging friends :). Most of you were correct that this was my hubby’s yummy turkey as it was waiting to go in the oven. He’s an excellent cook and prepared the whole Christmas dinner by himself. We have a great system – he cooks and I clean up :). Yesterday, when I was the only one in the house who had to go to work, he also made my lunch which included a big fat turkey sandwich. It was delicious – what a good hubby! Now I’m off until January 6th. Yippeeeeeeee!!!!

    Hmmmm!
Must be an American Turkey ’cause ours look more wrinkly in their ‘birthday suits’.

    • Actually, it’s a Canadian turkey LOL! And it looks like we will be having a lot of turkey in the near future (Yayyyy) because when we went grocery shopping yesterday they were on sale for the lowest price ever, so we still have two good sized turkeys and two tiny ones in our freezer.

      • Vicki (from Victoria A Photography) says:

        Oops!
I’m always getting the two countries muddled on the blogs I follow. Just as well my Canadian and American email friends don’t cause me confusion as well.

(I recently discovered the guy living in the flat across the hall from me is Canadian – I thought he was Irish – lol).

I’m glad it didn’t turn out to be having a friend for Xmas.

  10. Map of Time says:

IF this was still Friday, I would have guessed this was a salt and peppered alien. Your ghastly.

  11. Ok, it’s Sunday and I am just now looking at this, but who cares, right? And I hate mystery photos because I can never ever suss them out. However, had I not even read any of the replies above, I would have guessed it was a salt & peppered bird of some sort, probably turkey.

For me, I’m just getting here & it’s Monday already! I have completely lost track of days over this Christmas. Since I don’t work anymore, sometimes I can only tell what day it is by what is playing on TV!
