The beauty of the north

We are home from our mini vacation, and I am totally exhausted!  Now, don’t get me wrong.  I am totally relaxed and happy, and we had a fabulous time, but boy did all that fresh air and exercise do a number on me :).

I have literally hundreds of photos to go through as my camera never left my side, but as I am drafting this Tuesday night for posting on Wednesday, and my eyes are drooping as I type, I’m going to make this really short and sweet and give you a quick taste of what is to come.  This is a photo of the scenery on our drive north.  What a beautiful country I live in, don’t you agree?

  2. yes we do live in a beautiful country and if this is just a taste of what is to come, then I am looking forward to your future posts – now rest up from your vacation (lol)

Yes! I want to visit. I always need a vacation when I get back from a vacation. Get some rest.

    • Thanks TBM, and you should definitely visit Canada. It’s gorgeous!!

I’ve been to Toronto and Montreal, but I would love to visit all of the National Parks. Someday I hope to drive through Canada and the US. I’m trying to sell this idea to the better half. At least I have another 30 years of convincing before we retire. Yuck! 30 years!

      • Canada is sooo huge. I live here and I still haven’t seen half of it. I’m hoping that once the kids have both moved out (not rushing that though :(), Mike and I will have more time to explore Canada and other countries :).

  4. Yup I agree…beautiful country and beautiful photograph.

Tis a beautiful country indeed and lets not forget our free health care! … now if only we could find a way to keep the rivers from icing up during those cold cold months we have to endure!
