I was out for the evening last night to see author, Ann-Marie MacDonald, speak in Orangeville, Ontario about her latest book, Adult Onset, and today we are heading to Waterloo, Ontario with our youngest son, Daniel, to an open house at Wilfred Laurier University and then back home for his high school commencement Friday evening. So, it’s crazy busy, but I still managed a mystery photo for you. It’s like those brain exercises on the Luminosity website – regular practice keeps your brain sharp :). So, let’s see what you can do. Ok, ready, set, go….
Oh, and one other thing. Yesterday was my parents’ 59th wedding anniversary, and I want to wish them a very happy anniversary. In this age of broken marriages, they are an inspiration!
looks like grease so I’m going to say it’s part of a cooker hood, happy anniversary to the senior loons
I like that – senior loons!! Thanks Bunny :).
don’t know, don’t care
Good guess LouAnn :).
ha ha ha ha – thought you would get a chuckle from my obvious frustration
I thought you woke up on the bitchy side of the bed LOL!!
Wow I’m really not sure on this one. Is it part of your barbecue? Congrats with all the stuff going on happy anniversary to your parents.
Thanks Edith :).
Looks like the heating element in a toaster oven.
You are officially one of the smartest people I know :).
Dude, go to the dentist!
Hey now LOL!
Too much?
Nah, never too much. You make me smile every time :).
I think it gets hot and you push items through it. Possibly a laminator.
It’s obvious, from the chocolate stains, that it has been subject to a lot of misuse. 😀
Mmm chocolate!! Now you made me hungry :).
My original guess was a binding machine for putting together large scale bound books. It could also be a platen on an old-fashioned typewriter. But mostly, I’d have to say I’m stumped!
To hell with the mystery photo… 59 years Please pass on my best wishes to them… now my 41 seems so few… they must be an inspiration to your whole family….
Yes they are, and thank you Bulldog. They are going to love your message!!
What a weekend and it’s only Saturday morning!!!! Yesterday we left the house at 7am for the university open house 1 1/2 hours away, we were gone most of the day listening to talks and walking the campus and visiting with my older son and his girlfriend (who was our tour guide for the day), and then we rushed home to get ready for my youngest son’s high school graduation. Not only has Daniel now decided what course he wants to apply for at university (Psychology), he came away from graduation as an Ontario Scholar (Grade 12 average over 80%) and the Owen Sound Sun Times Yearbook Award (he was Senior Editor) and a history award. Wow!!! What a day :).
As for the mystery photo, Jeff Sinon did it again!!! It is the heating element in a toaster oven. I tell you, he’s one of the smartest people I know!
yeah yeah, Jeff is so smart–are the rest of us chopped liver
LOL!! Did you wake up on the bitchy side of the bed AGAIN? You know you are very very special to me LouAnn :).
now I feel better–I feel the love
🙂
