Mystery Photo #133

Oh boy, oh boy, Mystery Photo Friday has just advanced to a new level of fun (well for me anyway :)).  At the photography show last weekend, I bought the coolest little macro lens gadget for my iPhone, and it is incredible!  I can now obtain clear photos just one inch away from the object.  Mwah ha ha!!!  Don’t worry though, I won’t use it every week because I don’t want my wonderful followers to get angry with me.

For this week’s entry, someone is watching you.  Maybe he or she saw you sneak that second bowl of chocolate icecream or take the extra cookie from the cookie jar.  Can you figure it out?  Let’s see what you’ve got.  Ok, ready, set, go….

  1. money money money, I’ve only ever seen a loony so I have no idea what Canadian paper money looks like but this still looks like a US $1 bill to me. Did he tell a lie?

  2. Vicki says:

Has to be money, but since I’m Australian I can’t guess much further than that.

  3. TBM says:

Seriously, I’m the first one to guess the advanced mystery photo! Since I can’t cheat, I’ll take a stab at it. Looks like a close up of an American dollar bill, but not sure why you would have one in Canada so I’m pretty sure I’m dead wrong.

    • TBM says:

well now I see other guesses … should have waited a minute.

      • I beat you yet again 😉

      • Now, now Bunny, be nice :).

      • I’m always nice 😉

      • TBM says:

And extremely competitive. You moved in yet? The process starts for us this weekend.

      • competitive? Moi? yeah well ok just a little bit. Move is done but unpacking is still a work in progress. Ikea and HomeBase have done extremely well out of us.

Best of luck with your move, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. It’s an awful process but the end result will be worth it.

      • TBM says:

I haven’t met one person who likes moving. And I would have to wonder about a person who said they did. After a move is fun, exploring a new neighborhood, but the whole packing, moving, cleaning … me no likey

      • I thought we had it licked by paying someone else to do the packing and cleaning but they did such a shitty job it just added to the stress, I still can’t find the dogs leash, we found one box they’d packed a plastic bin bag of dirty nappies into and yesterday I found three kids juice bottles with juice the still in in a box of kids clothes. I won’t even mention their cleaning skills.

      • TBM says:

When we moved from Boston to London we had movers as well. They packed the garbage in the trash can even though I said, leave the trash can behind. To them, this meant grab the stinky bag from inside and put it in a box that then spent six weeks in the container. You don’t want to know how much it smelled when I opened the box.

      • six weeks, ewwwww, I can just imagine. The dirty nappy bag was in a box with the kids bedding so it wasn’t too bad as it could all just go in the washing machine. (and thanks to the old owners of this house we now have an American industrial washing machine) I got four kingsize duvet covers in there on one cycle yesterday it rocks.

      • Oooh, those are nasty stories!! Yuck!

      • once you’ve agreed to the move they don’t care any more, ours even tried to ask for more money once all the trucks were loaded up and we had handed over the keys. They claimed we had more stuff than they knew about despite them have done a survey of the property. They even threatened to unload our stuff onto the street if we didn’t agree to pay more. Thankfully the drivers/staff actually stood up for us against their idiot manager.

      • TBM says:

I had movers who refused to unload the truck until I ordered them pizza.

      • wowser, that’s just rude

  4. bulldog says:

That is the funny money of America…

  5. Queen Elizabeth – hands down – and it it isn’t–it should be oh patriotic one.

    • Map of Time says:

I do believe you is correct, LouAnn. The curve of the face just under the nose looks a lot like hers.

  6. The eye in the photograph reminds me of the song “The Eyes of Texas Are Upon You,” but Texas no longer prints its own money.

  7. dorannrule says:

    It’s a disguised “selfie.” LOL! 🙂

  8. GrahamInHats says:

Ve zinc tha vas eet vases ze rong vay faw ze USA.

    It might be Canadian $100.

Mostly I think your showing off. I’ve got a hat you know Moi Ha. 😀

  9. benzeknees says:

This is part of an American bill or money. None of our Cdn. money has this particular shade of green. At least that’s what I think.

  10. beckyday6 says:

Wow that is a super cool zoom in! I’m very impressed. This must be some dude’s eye on an American note of money of some sort, but I couldn’t tell you specifics, LOL.

  11. I know I’m late to guess but love this.

  12. GrahamInHats says:

The eyes, don’t look at the eyes. aaaargh.

I zink you av a cunning plan ya. 😕

  13. Jeff Sinon says:

Looks to me like a close up of some of that play money you guys use up there. 😛

  14. Good morning everyone :). Time to reveal the answer. Many of you knew it was some kind of money, but I was surprised at how many thought it was American currency. LouAnn and Map of Time were correct that it is part of Queen Elizabeth’s face and Edith Levy was 100% correct that it is from a Canadian $20 bill. Congrats!! Pretty cool shot eh?

  15. so I do win some chocolate?
