What’s better than the weekend? Why, a long weekend of course :). After how crazy the last few weeks have been and how incredibly busy I have been at work, I am really looking forward to three days off. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and I will be able to get outside and work on my gardens a bit. To feel the warmth of the sunshine on my skin would be a dream come true, but we’ll have to see what kind of mood Mother Nature is in. Reading time and a trip to the movies to see Godzilla are also part of the long weekend plan.
The beginning of the weekend also means it’s mystery photo time. The quality of this photo is not the best, but I’m looking forward to what people will come up with. Give it your best shot, and let’s see what you’ve got this week. Ok, ready, set, go…..
P.S. Anyone else emotionally drained from the season finales on TV this week? I had to endure multiple heart breakers and shockers last night! 🙂
Another torture device you use.
Haven’t had a chance to watch the finales yet, so don’t tell me!
You may not watch the same ones I do, but my lips are sealed anyway :).
Hole punch! 😀
hole punch–I knew it before I read Jeff–but I also agree with TBM
that’s one sick torture device: being hole-punched.
it hurts a lot
Ouch!!
Wire cutters….
I know, I know…pliers! Have a great long weekend Cindy.
You too Edith 🙂
Garden clippers but they must be brand new. No mud on ’em.
Just how tough are your toenails anyway and are they dangerous. ❓ I’m sure there will be more later. How could I resist. 🙂
Actually, my hubby uses side cutters to cut his toe nails LOL!!
Is he perhaps very hairy with big feet, walks about in the snow a lot and difficult to catch sight of. 😉
Secateurs or an eyelet punch.
Well blatantly it’s a robot claw.
I’ll be interested in hearing what you make of Godzilla, I did see at least one version of it when I was younger but it was so long ago that I remember nothing about it!
Enjoy your long weekend. 😀
Thanks Becky. Yes, maybe I have a robot who will bring me food and drink while I lounge on the couch reading all weekend :). I literally could read all weekend, but those damn chores always seem to interrupt don’t they?
Hole puncher.
It’s quite gratifying to think “Wow, Cindy finally put up an easy Mystery Photo so those of us that are totally clueless won’t feel left out.” 😉
But is it really easy?? 🙂
Oh no! Now I doubt my guess. You’re evil, Cindy!!!
Blast.
Or, maybe it is really easy :). LOL!
Mwah ha ha!! (evil laugh)
Stealing a persons evil laugh, is even more evil 😈 Well done.
Shears with a replaceable blade. Probably for cutting thin sheet metal (aka Tin Snips). Or, more sensibly:-
A surgical instrument for removing old wives tales. 😀
I do not like the sound of that laugh!
I’m more worried by the thought that you can actually hear it. 😮 aaaaaaargh
Looks like a pair of needle nose pliers to me! But it could also be a single hole punch.
Good morning everyone :). I admit I was trying to mess with some of you in the comments yesterday, and I was pretty sure that many of you would think the mystery photo was a closeup of pliers. However, as quite a few of you guessed, it is a one hold punch. I think Mystery Photo Friday has been very good for your brains because you are all getting too smart for me :).
My immediate reaction was a pair of Vise-Grips. I hope that doesn’t mean I’ve been gripped by vice.
No, lol, it just means you had the same initial reaction as many others :), but it’s actually a one hold punch.
Holy shit did I miss this week, I guess it was because I was busy moving but still it’s poor form on my part this must be the first one I’ve missed in a couple of years now.
So anyway before I scroll down and see how wrong I was I’m going to guess that this is a pair of pruning shears.
Hope you had a fab weekend.
Gah, why I didn’t I go with my gut and read too much into your comments about gardening.
It’s ok Bunny, there’s always next week :).
