Mystery Photo #107

I have a big surprise for all of you this week.  The mystery photo is being brought to you by a guest blogger – my good friend, T.B. Markinson.  She is an amazing author and world traveler whose two blogs you should definitely check out if you haven’t already at 50 Year Project and Making My Mark.  And now I turn the craziness over to TBM and hope that your guesses for her mystery photo will make her smile as much as they do for me every week.  Welcome to the Loonybin my friend :).

Each week, Cindy challenges us with her mystery photos. In fact, she has provided 106 challenges and I think I’ve guessed correctly at least three times. I will admit that occasionally I whine that she’s not playing fair and making it too hard. Even though I’m a terrible guesser, I still look forward to the challenge each week. The best part for me is that her photos give all of us a way to interact with each other. Because of her challenges, I’ve become friends with many of the bloggers who participate. After a long week, it’s great to be able to joke around and have fun.

After giving Cindy so much crap for over a year, I’ve finally decided to jump into the fray. I provided today’s mystery photo. I won’t say too much about it. But I will say this, I don’t know how Cindy does it each week. I spent more time than I would like to admit coming up with a decent photo that wasn’t too easy or too hard. To be honest, I’m not sure I would have the patience to come up with something for every Friday. I admire her dedication. And LouAnn, don’t fret. Next week I’ll be back to my normal self and will moan about it being too hard.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Thant to me looks like a dolls foot/ankle.

  2. bulldog says:

Oh crap… now you are here to tease us… it’s a cork puller that is cold and needs a sock…

  3. bulldog says:

Oh it could be a dolls foot /ankle

  4. TBM’s baby shoe with cement instead of bronze–her parents were sending a message–but why it needs a cap I do not know
I am not sure I like this–who am I supposed to whine with this week?

  5. Beth Ann says:

Oh my goodness—TBM is every where this week!!! Came over to see what loonybin had to offer and who do I find??? 🙂 I have no clue what the picture is of and can’t even make an educated guess. I blame my dilated eyes from my eye exam yesterday (even though I doubt they are still dilated). 🙂

  6. Hey my answer disappeared again, I’m not sure why TBM is being mean too, but I think it’s part of a Christmas decoration.

  7. This is for Ms. Loony – are you having withdrawal symptoms–why are you not guessing–do you know what it is–is it really the foot of your alien friend Argonot?

  8. dorannrule says:

Looks like a boot warmer to me with a cap plunked on it for deception purposes. Help! Cindyyyyyyyyyyyy!

  9. grahamatlinc says:

It is a Martian brain pulling device. Aside: Ever since I started visiting this site I’ve been doing this a lot “aaarrgh”. Now I’m getting it from both of you. What did I do ? I’m just an ordinary simple deranged barm pot like everybody else (yes, I have noticed).

Enjoy your fun, I’m only playing and I quite enjoy a good scream.

  10. grahamatlinc says:

    It’s for pulling beer.

  11. This is a tough one and you know that I’m usually a terrible guesser. It looks like a wooden shoe tree to me.

  12. benzeknees says:

I think this is a fancy doll’s leg & foot because of the ceramic baby shoe & the knit pants.

  13. RMW says:

I am with Edith Levy on this one and because it is that time of year it needs a hat to keep warm… makes a lot of sense to me…

  14. nothing here makes sense–obviously these people have all lost their senses–and I want to go for a beer with all of you next summer too

  15. grahamatlinc says:

    I know, it’s a dottlewatt. 🙂

  16. Map of Time says:

A knitted hat pulled over a pulley made of cookies and set in a porcelain vase. 😛

  17. So, do you want to know the answer? Head on over to my blog post for today to find out. Congrats to everyone who got it right :). Here’s the link: https://photosfromtheloonybin.wordpress.com/2013/12/07/mystery-revealed/
