On your marks, get set, shop!!!! Wait a minute. Why are you still here? It’s Black Friday – you’re supposed to be out scratching, biting, and kicking to get all the amazing deals. I was going to stay up until midnight last night to see if the iPad Air I want for Christmas was on sale on the Apple website, but when I checked yesterday and saw the earliest shipping date was December 20th, that was just a little too close for comfort for me, especially since I have already sold my old iPad. Staples provided a much more logical, although probably a little more expensive, choice with next day delivery, so I am picking it up today! Don’t worry though – it will be staying in the box until Christmas (maybe). Aren’t I a great wife doing my hubby’s Christmas shopping for him?? LOL!! Now, if only he would give me some ideas for himself, I could start to breathe easier. He’s impossible to buy for :).
I hope all of my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday, and just make sure if you do hit the stores today that you wear your protective gear. Now, on to the mystery photo. they look like some kind of fruit, I’m not sure my African roots understand but hey I’ve lived in the frozen north for a good few years now so I’m going to say they’re chestnuts. Mrs BC is away for a long weekend in Iceland and as of yet I haven’t managed to burn the house down or kill my kids which I think is pretty impressive. They’ve even had hot meals that I didn’t order. OK so some tidying up is probably necessary and the dishwasher could use re-stacking but hey I’m impressed with me. Have a fantabulous weekend.

got to love them, they’ve been so well behaved, it helps that there is now a reliableish internet connection in Zimbabwe so they have been able to skype with video with their Granny for the first time without it dropping every few seconds.
of course I may have been blinded by my lack of time in the tropics recently and forgotten than pineapples aren’t always a perfect yellow 😉

I’m so excited I know it today it’s a pineapple. Funny you should say that about the iPad I was on the Apple site this morning looking to see if the iPad mini was on sale but it wasn’t unfortunately. I really need to upgrade my iPad because it’s the first generation and I’ve been debating between the iPad air and the new iPad Mini with retina display and I think I’m going to go with the mini.
I love iPads!!!!!!!!! I just had to get that out LOL :). This will be my third one I think, and I would never choose another type of tablet. I have absolutely zero complaints about my iPad or my iPhone. The only thing that would make them better is if they had memory card slots. They may be a little more money than some tablets, but they are so worth it! I think the mini is great – you should go for it. I have a Nook HD that I use as an ereader, so that’s why I get the iPad and not the mini. If you buy the mini from Apple today you will get a $50 Apple Store gift card :).
