Mystery Photo #95

Generally, I like photos to be really sharp, and this one just isn’t, but I have an excuse (sort of).  I was in a hurry last night trying to figure out something to use for the mystery photo because we were packing to go away for the weekend.  Wahooooo!!!!!

You may recall that last summer Mike and I spent a long weekend up at my cousin’s resort in Port Loring, Ontario, which is in the Muskokas.  It’s a beautiful spot with cabins lining the lake and a lodge up on a hill.  I quickly found my favourite spot – a bench on the point looking out over the water where I could read to my heart’s content, and Mikey was happy because we could take a boat out fishing whenever we wanted.

This weekend my cousin has invited Mike and I, my parents, my brother and his girlfriend, and a few of my cousins up to Wright Point Resort for a mini family reunion.  We booked Friday and Monday off work, so we have 4 days to be one with nature.  Although we had a huge heat wave this week, the temperatures are now dropping rapidly, so it’s not going to be a shorts and t-shirt weekend by any means, but as long as the sun shines I will be happy.  I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone.

So, I apologize for my less than sharp photo, but this is unlike any mystery photo I have ever posted, so I thought it might be fun and kind of tricky.  And no, LouAnn, it’s not a part from my alien friends’ spaceship :).  Let’s see how well those brain cells are firing this week. Ok, ready, set, go…..

  6. I just realised I didn’t respond earlier, my fault, I was distracted by one of my progeny when I should really have been telling you about the two drones and cords from a set of bagpipes.

I hope you have a great trip and get to spend some time sitting in the adirondack chair you taught me about the last time you visited.
