I have been meaning to post more pictures from the Fergus Scottish Festival this week, but somehow I kept running out of time each night. I will get to them, don’t worry, but tonight I’m in the mood to share a scene that makes me feel totally relaxed because that’s something I usually need by Thursday night. I have been super busy at work, and our office is moving to a new location in a couple of months, so we are also starting to think about getting rid of old files and documents and packing up what needs to be moved. It is going to be a crazy two months!!
This photo was taken on our leisurely drive home from the Scottish Festival last weekend. This is a spot where Mike and I used to go fishing years ago, and we haven’t been there in ages. It was sunny and warm and totally peaceful, and I could have stayed there forever. I especially love how the clouds are reflected in the river. Does it make you feel peaceful too?
You are making me too peaceful. I feel a nap coming on. 🙂 Lovely photo by the way! Dor
There’s no such thing as being too peaceful is there? Glad you liked it :).
Nothing more peaceful then a quiet meadow with a river running through it… no doubt the “Grand River”
I couldn’t agree more :). I’m not sure if it is part of the Grand River or not, but it’s quite possible.
calms me down for a night of slumber
Sweet dreams my friend 🙂
That is a beautiful and relaxing scene and I agree the reflections are wonderful.
Thanks Edith :). Glad you enjoyed it.
Serene!
I love that word. It sounds like its meaning :).
Very peaceful
It definitely was. There were no sounds except the sounds of nature.
Um, I need to be there today. Please can I come!
You are always welcome :). We could sit and read all day (and eat chocolate and drink beer). Are you having a stressful day?
We’ll take lawn chairs and we will sit on the bridge overlooking the river :).
Wow, that sky is amazing! It looks like ‘perfect’ photoshopped clouds have been put in they’re so clear. Good job Cindy, you definitely captured the moment. 😀
Almost any largish body of water makes me feel peaceful. Never understood why I live on the prairies?!
