Beauty and the blur

Well, it’s about time I got back to those wedding shots, don’t you think?  I was doing really well at posting them on Facebook and a few on my blog right after the wedding, but then as usual I got busy.  I had a book to finish and review, and that had to take precedence, plus we were out most of the weekend.  But I’m back!

There was a comment from my niece, Amy,  today on my Ahhh, weddings!! post thanking me and saying how amazing my photos were.  My reply to her was that it was easy to take amazing pictures when the bride is so beautiful and the groom is so handsome! How could I possibly fail?  In fact, there are so many gorgeous shots that I didn’t know what to post tonight.  Then Bryan’s girlfriend, Cayley, said she really liked this one, and after fiddling around with the Gaussian blur to focus the attention on the beautiful bride and give it a dreamy look, I decided that it was one of my favourites too.

At the same time I snapped a closeup which I really like as well.

Beautiful bride, and love what you did with the photo… and the second photo, nice clean finger nails… lol

    • I just felt like it was a little too busy in the background and took away from her, so I played around with the blurring. I don’t know how to do very much in Photoshop, but that wasn’t too hard :). Thanks Bulldog and glad you liked the nice clean fingernails. I will tell her LOL!
