Wow!!!! This is the 75th week in a row that I have hopefully made your Friday challenging and fun with the mystery photo. Can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday that my blogging friends told me it was fun guessing the photo that I had posted and suggested that I make it a regular feature on my blog.
Even though some weeks many weeks it’s hard to come up with a different idea for the mystery photo, I can’t imagine what Fridays would be like without it. Not only are the guesses unique and varied, but the bantering back and forth and the hilarious comments are what help me make it through the the last day of work each week.
So, without further ado, let’s get to it. It’s time to start guessing! Ok, ready, set, go….
Oh, by the way, it’s April 26th and the ground is totally white here again today. Yes, pity me :(.
I’m wearing long trousers for the first time in 3 weeks so I sympathise
I pity you – although I’ve a feeling that we’ll be seeking pity together soon!!! No snow here yet though…. (#touchwood)!!!
Good news! The sun came out today and it melted all the snow :). I will cross my fingers that you don’t get any!!
I’m going to go with it being an oven glove. It’s a beautiful photograph though I really like it aesthetically.
since when can you spell aesthetically?
Since my phone told me how to spell aesthetically
Smart Phone – ha ha –
You see, you guys always make me laugh on Fridays :). I love it!
the shoulder pads from that 1980’s dress you just cannot throw away
a hat that works somewhat like aluminum foil–in that when you put it on the aliens cannot read your thoughts (useful for you when you go on some of your spaceship journeys)
a Heinz ketchyp wiper-upper before it has wiped up
ketchup
LMAO!!!! Nope to all of the above 🙂
can you tell I am avoiding all the bookwork I have to have done like yesterday?
Yup, I think you are definitely avoiding your bookwork. Either that, or you have just lost your mind LMAO!!!!
BOTH
I think it’s one of those back supports you use in bed to read but I’m sure I’m wrong. Regardless its a terrific abstract B&W. Love it.
Thanks Edith :). I was actually pleasantly surprised when I uploaded this shot to my computer. It is kind of cool!
back of the inside of a running shoe… im going to say right shoe?
Yep, I’m pretty sure that you nailed it
Ruhia!!!!! How the hell are ya? Everyone here says hi and wants to know how everything is going with you guys. We miss you!
Thought I posted a reply but it seems to have dissapeared… anyways…. Im great! 🙂 Jamil is back in town for the summer from med school and I am busy working in Oakville now. We will be in the Orangeville area this saturday if you girls want to meet up, it would be great to see you guys again and catch up. Let me know!
Oh bummer, I won’t be around at all on Saturday. We have to move Bryan back home from college for the summer, and then my house will be full again :). I will let the other girls know though. I guess you are really happy to have Jamil home for the summer. Tell him I miss our techie conversations! And you’re working in Oakville – does that mean you guys sold your house in Orangeville?
One of those “travel” pillows?
I did a double take when viewing this from my tablet. It looked like chicken skin.
Ewwww LOL!!
Certain it is the back of a running shoe.
by jove, I think you’ve got it – I’LL second Colline’s guess!
SOCK PUPPET.
I think it’s the back of a slipper, a very pretty slipper!
I want the answer at 6 sharp tomorrow morning Ms Loony–none of this sleeping in on Saturday stuff
Ooooh, so demanding LOL!! I never sleep in my friend and will be up extra early tomorrow because we have to move Bryan home YAY! I will post the answer while I eat breakfast ok? You were very entertaining today by the way :).
I am not such a tough taskmaster–just trying to make you laugh–that is my goal in life–to bring a smile to my friend’s face–
be forewarned–sometimes the transition home has a few bumps
Trust me, you always make me laugh and I love it :). Bumpy transition eh? Is it because they’ve had so much independence while away?
Although there were some very good answers and some very ummm unique guesses (LouAnn :)), two people did get it correct. The first was Rue and the second was Colline. Yes, it was taken looking inside the back of a running shoe. Kind of a cool shot isn’t it? Now, I know that LouAnn and Mr. Bunny Chow are going to claim they got it right too, but sorry my friends – seconding someone else’s guess isn’t quite the same as getting it right yourself LOL!! Your answers were awesome though :). Have a great weekend everyone. I’m off to move my son home from college for the summer! Yayyyyyy!!!!
We should get a special mention for recognizing a correct answer, eh Mr Bunny?
Yes the transition from independence to house rules again will work but take a few days (weeks?) –I remember the days I used to do it, and it was hard to get your mind around the fact that you could not just whatever you wanted anymore and that you had to take other people into account
Ok, honourable mentions to Bunny and LouAnn for being so dedicated and recognizing a correct answer. As for the kid, I think he’ll be fine. He’s pretty easy going, but we’ll see. His biggest concern is that there won’t be a McDonalds within walking distance!! LOL
I lived right behind a McDonald’s when I was in 4th year so I feel his pain!
Ya, he will probably go through withdrawal :). We’re on our way to get him now!!
I think it’s the inside of a running shoe. Just a guess. What do I win, if right? HF
You are correct, but I already revealed the answer last Saturday LOL :). I have never awarded a physical prize yet, but the first one to guess correctly does get the undying admiration of all their fellow bloggers who also played the game and couldn’t figure it out! Check back Friday morning for this week’s mystery photo :).
