Fuzzy grass, fuzzy brain

Does you brain ever feel fuzzy when you have been overly busy for a few days?  Mine certainly does tonight, and being in this semi brain-dead state, my mind wanders from one random subject to another, which tonight included remembering a plant in South Carolina that was as fuzzy as my brain :).  I’m not sure if it has a specific name or not, but it is some type of grass that grows near the beach, and when I saw the sun shining through from behind, I got down close to the ground and snapped this shot.  It may not be the best quality shot, but there is something about it that is quite beautiful and peaceful, and it really appeals to me.  What do you think?

I like it… this adheres to the rule of thirds… dark on the bottom, well exposed in the middle and wow, that bright sun in the top third. Very nice.

At first I thought, a forest. Great shot.

Well this fuzzy brain likes it. Nice shot. And wow, my caffeine is not kicking in today.

    • Thanks TBM 🙂 And what is it about this week and everyone being more tired than usual. I mean, I know you are getting ready for the trip of a lifetime and I have been insanely busy at work, but I have been going to bed early and sleeping like a baby at night, and I still wake up exhausted. I have heard quite a few people saying the same thing this week. It must be something to do with the weather finally fighting to change over to Spring!!

Insanely busy at work sounds like zero fun. I’m sorry to hear that. I know part of my problem is that I’ve been getting up at 5am for a walk and then have been going for a run 3-4 times a week at night.

Has spring arrived yet? The last few days have been beautiful here.

      • It has been sub-zero fun, but I did get a lot done yesterday and went home feeling pretty good, which led to a relaxing evening. I played on the computer (emails and such), read a wonderful book, and even worked out a bit!! So, I’m ready and raring to go this morning, although still tired LOL! Good for you with all your healthy activities – I wish I had the willpower to do more exercise, but at least I am doing more than I used to :). And yes, I would have to say that spring has finally arrived!! It’s still chilly, and we did have a bit of a blizzard on Saturday, but it has been sunny and warmer ever since, and you can smell spring in the air :). The grass is getting really green too!

Oooh that’s lovely! I say it a lot, but it looks like something out of a fantasy book, lol. I have a one track mind. 😛

    • I think the same way :). David Hall said he thought it was a forest at first, and the first thing that came to my mind was a fuzzy forest where the fairies and other magical creatures live in a fantasy novel, and I’ll bet it’s a beautiful place full of sunshine peaking through the trees and sparkling colours. We should totally go there!!

Gorgeous! Looks like a place to lie down and feel protected – like wrapped in a fuzzy comforter. A magical place. I want to go there.
