We Canadians are a hardy bunch, and I got proof of that yesterday! You see, when you’re Canadian and you’re sick of waiting for Spring to arrive, you just learn to improvise. So, Mikey got out the lounge chair and the BBQ and proceeded to sunbathe in the midst of the snow. Cold you ask? Pfft!! We laugh at the cold :). We were born with shovels in our hands!! After laying outside for about an hour yesterday, he ended up with a tanned face and arms and racoon eyes. Now that’s a hardy Canuck!!

Whoa, what a contrast! I can’t believe he got a tan after sitting in the snow, that is just crazy. 😛 You guys are braver than me.
Well, he is anyway :). It’s still a little cold for me out there!! I like it really, really hot :).
Now that is the height of relaxation… a braai and sun and the ice for the drinks right at hand… lovely.. (I personally think he’s crazy Canuck or not…)
Yup, you’ve got him figured out. He is a little bit crazy!! That’s why I love him :).
If all I ever saw was the photo, with no lead-in, I would know it was Mikey! LOL! Blahahaha! 🙂
After you meet him, it’s kind of obvious that he would do crazy things like that right? But he does make us laugh, and that’s a good thing :). Hope you have a perfectly wonderful Easter my friend, and give Rozie a big hug for me! By the way, Mikey is addicted to the raspberry syrup from your friend’s shop. We might have to order a whole case of it LOL!!!
That’s a CRAZY Canuck!! Love the attitude 🙂
Thanks Suzanne! He does make life interesting, that’s for sure LOL!!
Funny!
Thanks! I thought it might give everyone a laugh :).
And was the BBQ just for show, or did you grill something? I’ve been known to grill pretty much every month of the year. But no gas–I do it with wood and/or charcoal.
He actually BBQ’d steaks the night before this picture was taken, and they were yummy :). We usually BBQ late into the Fall, but a lot of times the BBQ is buried under snow in the Winter, and we can’t get at it. I’m looking soooo forward to grilling season!!
It was really warm here yesterday too! I had my windows open all day until almost midnight, but did not try tanning. Happy Easter!
Don’t get me wrong. It was sunny, but it wasn’t all that warm. He’s just a little crazy!! LOL
Oh, and Happy Easter to you too :).
I see you were smart enough not to join him — crazy man! It was nice here yesterday too–but not that nice,
I see you know him quite well LOL!!!
ha ha — Happy Easter you two!
Same to you – enjoy!!
I don’t see my chair…and come on, no outdoor heater.
I know – he asked me if I wanted to sit out there with him, and I said “are you crazy?!? It’s not that friggin’ warm!” LOL :). You and I can wait until it’s hot and sunny.
Love it! I feel part Canadian after the winter we’ve had here!
It has been nasty pretty much everywhere hasn’t it? My son just called me from college to tell me that he is walking around in a t-shirt today, and then I had to burst his bubble by telling him that apparently there is another snowstorm coming at the end of this week. Noooooo!!! I can’t take any more!
Oh I think I’d go insane if there was any more threat of snow! Hang in there, it should be right around the corner now, daffodils are blooming!
Yayyyyy!!
Very hardy indeed! I find it it much easier to live in Florida. 😀
I’m jealous :).
