When you read this, Mike and I will be making our way home from sunny South Carolina to cold and snowy Ontario. We had a fabulous vacation, but I so wish that we were going home to Spring already underway. I know it’s coming, but it will be really painful to have to wear boots and winter coats once again :(. Hopefully, it won’t be for long.
As usual, I would never dream of disappointing my blogging friends on Mystery Photo Friday, so I made sure that I drafted this blog before we hit the road and scheduled it for an early morning publication. Do you see how dedicated I am to you?? LOL!
So, without further ado, here is the mystery photo for this week. Now, let’s get to work! I want to reach my hotel room tonight and see lots of creative answers, and don’t forget the humour too because that always makes my day :). Ok, ready, set, go….
Ewww goo, I must admit I’m struggling this week, something sweet and sticky or maybe cheesy, dunno, going to leave this one to Jeff, travel safe.
Seaweed 😀
My first humorous guess is too insulting. I’m struggling to come up with a nice one. Safe travels!
you are very naughty but we think alike
🙂
no ewww ;-(
Hmmm a half eaten pizza.
some sort of coral or anemone?
I am not reading anyone else’s answer yet — but ugh! It looks like last night’s disasterous dessert–my rice pudding is nothing to write home about–especially after I have dropped it in the dirt (or my kitchen floor which needs vacuuming).
probably for the best TBM is being naughty
I went back and read her comment, and yes she is, bad TBM, bad TBM, but funny……………..
it has to be something from the ocean, an urchin or mussell or something coming out of a shell. on second thought is it your tonsils????
Bless you… but you should put your hand in front of your mouth when you sneeze…
ewwww, that’s gross Bulldog LOL!!
First thought: Ugh, I hope this isn’t food.
To me this looks like egg white over hash browns. I’m probably very wrong because you’ve probably done something like geoduck on sand because of where you’re vacationing. Whatever it is it doesn’t look particularly appetizing.
Not sure what that is.
Too bad you have to leave SC now, we will be in the 70sF this weekend.
Have a safe trip back though. 🙂
I know :(. I really could have stayed there forever and am not at all looking forward to seeing snow again today! Oh well, Spring is coming :).
Well ewwwwwwwwwwwwww..oooooh,ooooooh,oooooooohh,,mozzarella cheese, ( I don’t know how to spell mozzarella but I don’t care, damn it!)….anyway, white cheese melted on a biscuit!
ooooooh, oooooooh, oooooooh, or some kind of slimy ocean creature oozing on a biscuit!
DID I WIN!
DID I WIN!
DID I WIN!
DID I WIN!
( Now there’s your hotel humor…behave and go to bed)
hey it it 5:45 a.m. and we want the answer and we want it now
Patience LouAnn, I am still on holidays you know LOL!! You were all hilarious as usual (and TBM is a bad girl!), but nobody got it exactly right, although some of you figured out that it was something from the ocean. It is actually a closeup of the bottom of a jellyfish – you know the part that looks like little tentacles. My hubby loves to pick them up (ewww!), so it was easy to get a good close shot :). Great guesses everyone!!
The thought that went through my mind as soon as I saw the picture was: a snail’s tonsils. Of course I don’t think a snail has tonsils, but my imagination doesn’t care about trifling details like being anatomically correct. Then, in reading the comments, I was surprised to see that ifleury had also mentioned tonsils.
Happy spring, whenever it finally reaches Ontario. I’m glad you got a chance to warm up and sun up in the American South.
I miss the beach and the ocean already :(. I’m so depressed!! LOL
my reaction is still ewwwwwwwww yuck — but happy you created a mystery photo or two even though you were on vacation — it snowed here!
You should have seen the snowstorm we woke up to in Pennsylvania this morning. The interstate was terrible, and there were cars in the ditch everywhere. I’m so glad we made it through that safely!! And we just made it through customs with our car packed full of purchases, and we didn’t even get arrested. The customs agent just welcomed us home :).
sorry about the miserable trip – nothing worse than bad roads and accidents all around — glad you are safe and sound!
Thanks my friend :).
Marine algaes?
Have a nice say!
You were close. It was actually the bottom of a jellyfish. Thanks for playing the game :).
And a nice day!
You too 🙂
Hahaha! The comments for this post are hilarious!
I know :). They’re all crazy, and they help me get through my Fridays with laughter!!
