I’m kind of disappointed in myself today. It’s only four days until Christmas, so the mystery photo really should be holiday related, but it’s not :(. I hope you will forgive me :).
With Bryan home from college for a few weeks, we have been booking appointments for him, one of which was getting his car in for some repairs. When I got home from work yesterday, we found out that his car was ready, and with news of an approaching intense winter storm, we decided to drive down and pick it up before the roads got bad. By the time I got back home, had supper, put the oven on to clean (which in no time had smoke billowing through the house, setting off the smoke alarms), started laundry, and cleaned my spoon collection (which was black instead of silver), I just didn’t have time to create a holiday mystery photo.
Oh well, I think this one is still pretty good, and I know your comments will be just as entertaining as usual, maybe more so if any of you have gotten into the holiday “cheer” (booze) early :). Ok, ready, set, go….

Holy cow, the natives are restless this morning. I think I should have stayed up late and posted this at midnight so that TBM and LouAnn didn’t get their knickers in a knot. LOL!! By the way everyone, just had to let you know that this is my 400th post. Wahoooooo!!!! And I’m glad to be alive today – how about you?

Thanks for the congrats Mr. Bunny Chow and happy last day of work to you!!!! You are so lucky – I would have given anything to stay home with my kids when they were little, and you sound like such an amazing dad that I know your kids are going to love it! So, are you going to cause any excitement today at work and really go out with a bang??
Nah, going quietly fade into the background, did have to minute a disciplinary meeting this morning though, still it beats my last job where I had to fire someone on my last day.
got a team christmas lunch in a few minutes then going to spend the afternoon doing handovers.

I probably should admit that I wasn’t up all that early, I’m just a few hours ahead. In fact it was a photo finish to get my cat to the vet for his 9am appointment. We made it and boy is the cat pissed about that. Good thing his shots are making him sleepy. The dog was mad he didn’t get to go, little does he know he’s scheduled on Monday. I know, Christmas Eve and he has to get shots. I’m a horrible parent.
As for this picture, I think you want us to say it’s a bolt because it looks like one. Is it part of one of the spoons you were cleaning–you said they were more black. That’s all I got today. A dirty spoon. And if this is one of your spoons don’t be insulted if I bring my own cutlery over for dinner.

Yes, the mystery photo is posted every Friday, and the answer is revealed on Saturday morning. I like to give 24 hours or so because everyone lives in different time zones. So, are you going to take a guess?? 🙂

Wow, this was another of those mystery photos where I thought everyone would get it but nobody did. Yayyyy me!!! It’s actually a springy door stopper thing, you know the ones that you attach to the baseboard behind a door so it doesn’t slam into the wall. I think you guys all have pre-Christmas brains and that’s why you didn’t get it. Oh well, there’s always next week. Ok, Mikey and I are off to do the big Christmas grocery shopping. Hopefully the roads aren’t too bad because it has been kind of stormy here!!
