Ablaze in Colour

Fall is everywhere around us now, and it never ceases to amaze me how quickly the colours appear.  As we were walking back to the car after visiting our second waterfall on Saturday in Eugenia, Ontario, I saw a single maple leaf, ablaze in colour, laying on a tree stump.  The contrast of the brilliant colours against the dark stump made me stop in my tracks as we walked along the path, and I tested my husband’s patience as I stopped to take pictures from all different angles and distances :).  All of our stomachs were starting to call for supper, but this was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up!
