How about a little fun today? These photos aren’t going to make you sigh in happiness, or say “Wow” in amazement, and they certainly wouldn’t win any awards, but they might make you giggle a little bit. At least I hope they will.
Yesterday I showed you photos from our little fishing trip out on the lake at Wright Point Resort, but I never showed you the results. Like I said, we weren’t locals so we didn’t know the secret fishing spots, but Mikey was determined!! However, things didn’t start out the best. Here’s Mikey’s first catch – a big, scary stick LOL!!! But he says to tell you that you don’t know the fight that stick put up! It almost pulled him over the edge of the boat. He was traumatized! (no exaggerations of course :))
Then he progressed to a cute little sunfish :). Things were looking up! It was one of those extra muscular northern sunfish. It was pretty tough you know. LOL!!
Finally, we found a perfect spot for bass, and they started hitting like crazy. Mikey says this one attacked him. It bit him and he had to wrestle it to the bottom of the boat. When he finally had it subdued, he planted a kiss right on its lips. Wow, what a day! Poor Mikey was exhausted that night for sure.

Oh no, they just kept getting better and better. Thank goodness, or Mikey might have cried :).
The fishing is always good. Obviously, this is a case in point.

You’re right – it’s a giggler! And I’m very impressed with Mikey’s fishing prowess and his ability to forgive the monster that bit him enough to plant a kiss on the lips! 🙂

Not sure I would kiss a fish. Nothing against fish, just not into kissing them.

A successful day, to say the least! I’m sure he went to bed a very satisfied man! 😉
Because his job is busiest in the summer, he doesn’t get near as much time to go fishing as he would like, so yes, he was very happy by the end of that day :).

I don’t like the smell or taste of fish, so I sure as heck wouldn’t kiss a fish. Yucky!! LOL
