Fifty Shades of Green

Whether you’re at work, the gym, the grocery store, or a bar, wherever you go lately, everyone is talking about the book Fifty Shades of Grey, a very erotic story that has all women suddenly addicted to reading :).  Having read it myself, I seem to always be thinking of everything in terms of fifty shades now LOL.

For instance, Mike and I were out driving around the countryside again recently, and I started noticing how much further along all of the crops are this year than they usually are by the middle of July and how incredibly green everything was.  When I started laughing, Mike asked me what was so funny, and I replied that we were surrounded by fifty shades of green!  It then sort of became a game to see how many different shades of green we could capture with our cameras.  Although I don’t think we quite reached fifty and it was a little too sunny for some of the shots, these are some of my favourites.  Who knew there were so many different shades of green on the farms around us?

The photo above is for Dan Traun who commented on my post Mesmerized who thought it would be nice to see the same shot once the potatoes had sprouted

A woman friend of mine referred to it as “50 Shades Of Crap,” after reading it. But I digress. That sure is a lotta green in them pictures. Very nice!
