It’s that time again, and since I seem to have acquired some new followers this week (yay me!!!) I thought I would explain what the mystery photo is all about. Every Friday I post a photo with no description or details. It is usually a close-up or cropped section of a photo but otherwise it is not altered. In other words, I don’t change the colour or anything like that. Then the games begins. Each visitor to my blog on Friday makes a guess as to what the photo is, and then the next day I reveal the answer.
Lately, my followers are getting really good at this game, so I am always looking for ways to stump them, especially Jeff Sinon who guessed the mystery photo last week that I swore nobody on the face of the planet would ever guess correctly!!! Let’s see if this week I have found something that is not part of that “boat load of useless information rattling around in his head” LOL!!! His words, not mine :).

It seems easier to define what it isn’t. And I agree with the other commenters…Ick! So just a guess perhaps it is a rock formation or a particularily nasty bit of eco-garbage !

initially I was thinking fish head but upon further obsevation I think I see rock with some messy stuff on it mixed in with rope or something…could it be a nest?
OK, first and foremost, this mystery photo was my sick and demented husband’s idea!!! Please keep that in mind :). Some of you were on the right track this week, but the one who got it 100% correct was Zelmare. It is the rotting eyeball in a carcass that we found on the beach in Kincardine, and we think it was an otter. Roxi St. Clair noticed the eyelashes – now that’s noticing small details!! I’m sorry if I am grossing anyone out :(, but you have to admit it was a tough one!! Anddddddd, I stumped Jeff this week. Yay!!!!
In my defense, rotting otter carcasses are not in my “useless knowledge” file. Until now of course 😛
