I sat in front of my computer last night racking my brain as to what photo I should post for Monday’s edition of photos from the loonybin. I was really excited about my photos for Sunday’s blog, and it seemed like anything I came up with was going to be anticlimactic. But, then I remembered that I took more cloud pictures the day after the storm, and that sunset was equally dramatic, so why not stick with something that everyone seemed to enjoy. I find skies like this very relaxing. How about you?

these are awesome
Thank you! I really appreciate that :).
Yes! Yes! Yes! Love pink skies – especially at night – “sailor’s delight” you know. Your pink cloud photos are superb! 🙂
Having grown up in a sailing family, that little saying was ingrained in my head from about age 3 :). Glad you liked my pink clouds Dor!
Gorgeous skies.
It was beautiful. Too bad it doesn’t last too long because I could have stood there for hours!
Amazing!
Thanks so much!!
Absolutely amazing… love them …
Aww shucks, thanks 🙂
Beautiful. These colours are stunning, and the clouds… !!! 🙂
It was a gorgeous site to see – that’s for sure 🙂
Gorgeous. The second looks surreal.
I agree – I find it kind of mesmerizing 🙂
Wowzas, these are even cooler than the previous ones!
Looking at them again now, I think you are right – these ones are even cooler LOL. So much drama and atmosphere. Thanks Becky!

These are so stunningly beautiful!!!
Why thank you!. Your comment means a great deal to me :).
I can be in the worst mood and then I will step outside and see a sky like this and all of a sudden all is right with the world. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos.
I totally agree!! It’s like a feeling of peace washes over me. I’m glad I have all my new WordPress friends to share these with :).
Ooooh… I love nothing more than a fire sky like this. Well done!!!!
Thanks Adam 🙂
Very beautiful skies!!!
Yes, and it was very relaxing to watch :).
I like the previous comment about a “fire sky” and of course the fire sky itself.
Isn’t that one of the best things about blogging – hearing how other people perceive and describe our work? Sometimes I find that people come up with the exact words that seemed to escape me when I was writing the post. I love the input! Thanks Steve :).
I’m late off the mark again, Cindy, due to circumstances way beyond my control, but let me chime in late and add my compliments, especially on the second shot. How serene and meditational.
Thanks Gary :). It was wonderful watching this sky unfold, and I was so glad that I had my camera handy. And I totally understand – it’s really hard to keep up with all of the blogs we follow isn’t it, especially when life gets in the way?
