The storm passed and we went about our business. We had dinner, cleaned up, and then I settled down to work on my blog. After a long day, Mike was laying in bed watching TV when all of a sudden he called to me to bring my camera. The view of the sky from the deck was breathtaking. There were still residual clouds in the sky from the storm, and the sun setting behind them was creating stunning visual effects. Every time I thought I had captured it, Mike would call me back again because the colours continued to change every few minutes, and sometimes it looked like the trees were on fire. We watched it progress from golds and oranges to pinks and purples and marvelled at the beauty of nature.

Great silhouettes and colors.
Yes, it was incredible watching the colours change so rapidly. It was like watching a light show :).
Sometimes the loony bin looks like a world of enchantment, and your photos and your reasons for taking them are achingly profound. I am getting poetic over these beauties! 🙂
Oooh, a world of enchantment – I like that :). That sounds much better than living in the Loonybin!! LOL. Your comments mean the world to me Dor. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Wowzas! That’s so pretty! Awesome pics.
Aww, thanks Becky!! You would love it on my back deck where I took these pictures. Not only is it up farily high so the view is good, but it’s also an awesome place to sit and read and listen to the sounds of nature. Nothing in my house gets done in the summer because I am always out there reading!! 🙂
Wow, that sounds absolutely perfect! Haha, and quite rightly too! Everyone needs to spend some quality time reading. 🙂
Gee, gollygosh!!! I have no words… Absolutely amazingly beautiful. 🙂
Aw shucks, you’re making me blush. Thank you so much for the wonderful comment, and I’m really glad that you liked them :).
Beautiful photos. The best yet!
Hey, that must mean I’m getting better and better as I go along, which is good because that was the purpose of this blog. I am trying to learn a little bit more every day. Thanks for the comment! 🙂

Dramatic!
Yes, when I looked out back today it was hard to believe that it was the same place :).
Those are awesome!!! Great job!
Thanks Tammy!! The only problem is, now I can’t figure out what to post tomorrow. Everything will seem boring in comparison :).
hmm, good point! LOL do an animal, people are always suckers for kittens and puppies. LOLLLLLLL
Great photos and how cute of Mike to make sure you didn’t miss out on seeing it and taking photos. He really is a keeper.
Thanks TBM, and yes he is a keeper, especially since he’s an awesome cook!!!! He loves to cook while I resent it because it takes so much time away from my reading, photography, and blogging!! LOL
These are really great photos!!!
Thank you! I really appreciate that :).
No problems! Hope to see more of your photos! They are really good!
