An Interesting View of Windsor Castle

My parents are here visiting this weekend from Kingston, Ontario, and today we are off to the Exposure – Photo & Video Imaging Expo in Toronto.  So, I am in a huge rush this morning and must make this a quicky post.

I am so impressed with Daniel’s photos from his trip to England and Scotland that I think he will be the focus of my blog for quite a while.  This photo was taken at Windsor Castle in England, a medieval castle and royal residence in Windsor in the English county of Berkshire, notable for its long association with the British royal family and for its architecture. The original castle was built after the Norman invasion by William the Conqueror.  I love the perspective of this shot looking up at the Norman Gate which you must go through to get to the Lower Ward which lies below and to the west of the Round Tower.  I found Daniel’s pictures of Windsor Castle quite interesting because the architecture seems very similar to that of the Tower of London which I visited when I was in England.

Maybe he doesn’t need a “better” camera, it sure won’t make is photos any better, he should be proud of these! When is he starting his own photo blog, I’ll be first in line to sign up!
