A visit to Niagara Falls cannot be considered complete until you have visited Clifton Hill, often referred to as the Street of Fun! It’s one of those places that remains virtually the same from generation to generation and is enjoyed by young and old alike. I remember the excitement and awe I felt as a child visiting Ripley’s Believe it or Not and the screams that escaped my mouth as we walked through the Haunted Castle. That was many years ago, but it’s still the same today. As Mike and I walked past familiar sites from our childhood and also some new ones, we saw many kids walk by us with eyes sparkling as they begged their parents, “Can we go to the wax museum, pleaseeeeeeee?!”
To give you an idea of the unlimited entertainment on Clifton Hill, there are a total of five haunted houses on or around Clifton Hill, three prominent video arcades, the Niagara SkyWheel ferris wheel, numerous wax museums, an indoor 18-hole glow in the dark mini golf course, a fun house, gift shops, and many restaurants. Here, let me take you on a tour.
We took our kids to Niagara Falls, and somehow we MISSED this?????
Please forgive me for laughing at your expense, but how could you possibly miss Clifton Hill?!?! That’s almost as bad as going to Niagara Falls and missing the falls!! LOL You must go back sometime and check it out.
I enjoyed walking up this hill with my 7 and 8 year old. They had such fun 🙂
Yes, we took our kids when they were little too, and they loved it!! It’s one of those memories you never forget.
Awesome pictures. Really captures it
Thank you Ms. Baskin Robbins!! Oooh, now I feel like icecream. 🙂
come and get it!
Whoooooah – this looks like a super fun place!!!! Lots of energy!!! 🙂 **
That’s a great way of describing it – full of energy! These pictures were taken first thing in the morning, so it was still very quiet. You should see it when the streets are packed with people!!
We only had one night in Niagara and we didn’t have much time to explore. When we go back, we’ll have to explore the fun side.
There is so much to see there – definitely hard to do in one night. I hope you get to go there again one day! 🙂
seems like tons of fun! 🙂
It’s a great place to have fun, even if you are not a child anymore but still a child at heart!!
