My Niagara Falls series is far from over, but I knew I would have very little time to prep my blog for today, so I’m going to keep it simple with a beautiful symbol of Spring. This is one of many daffodils that were in abundance in Niagara Falls, and I took the advice that I have had from several of my new blogging friends and cropped it to a square shape for a different look. Cropping is something that I only think to do if there is something unwanted in the photo. I never think to crop just for effect.
Thanks for your field report. So, did you like the crop for effect for this image?
Yes, actually I think I do because it removes some of the distraction in the background. It’s fun to experiment. That’s why I love digital photography! 🙂
Nice-cheery daffodils!
Yes, they can certainly perk up a person’s day can’t they? 🙂
Yes they can! Shape and color both!
Thanks for the ray of sunshine today!
You are so welcome! 🙂
Woke up to more rain this morning, which is good since we need it. But I had to check out your flower again…such lovely color!
Yes, we could use some rain here too. It’s getting awfully dry! I’m glad I could brighten up your rainy morning. Hope you have a wonderful day! 🙂
The square format works really well for this shot. A beautiful flower!
Thanks Gary 🙂
Hey Gary, I just found out that I haven’t been getting emails about your blog. This has happened to me a couple of times before where I subscribe to someone’s blog and then somehow I get unsubscribed. Anyway, I will now be bugging you with regular comments once again. 🙂
That yellow put a smile on my face. Thanks for sharing.
And your comment put a smile on my face. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
