It’s official – Santa was here!

Merry Christmas everyone!!  The big day is well under way here, and as usual the presents were opened before most people were even stumbling out of bed.  It doesn’t matter that my kids are teenagers now.  They still wake up early on Christmas morning.  What am I saying?  So do Mike and I!  I truly think that Santa upended his whole sleigh in our basement this year.  The boys are thrilled with their gifts, and that includes my hubby and my daddy.  This was the first time that my parents have ever been here to watch the kids open their presents, so it was really special!

Now we have to perform a frantic clean up before company arrives.  My hubby and I are a good team though, so it won’t be too bad.  He will look after all of the cooking while I run around and clean everything up and get the table ready.  You see, our house is not very big, so I need to make room for the extra bodies that will be here today to devour the big gobbler.  As a result, I knew I wouldn’t have time to upload any photos from this morning, so I decided to post some pictures of our Christmas tree from last year.  I hope you like them.   Have a beautiful day everyone!
