My family always makes fun of me for taking random photos, but I find myself and my camera continually attracted to anything with interesting or unique lines, patterns, and colours. When I find something with those criteria, I love to get up close and personal and experiment over and over, no matter how crazy people think I am.
On weekends, my husband and I enjoy just hopping in the car and and exploring the beautiful countryside around us. South-western Ontario has some incredible scenery and attractions, and during the summertime, farmers’ markets abound. One of the most popular markets is St. Jacob’s Farmers’ Market near Waterloo, Ontario. As soon as you enter the market, all of your senses come alive, and it is such a fun place for photography. On this particular day, as we walked through the stalls of jams, baking, meats, fruit, and vegetables, my camera never stopped as the sites and smells surrounded me. It was just a smorgasbord of colour that left me wanting to buy everything in sight!! This picture makes my mouth water just looking at it. What about you?
A great shot – one to look at on a dull, dreary day. It will perk you up right away!
Wow, that’s a lot of pepper…Can you edit the colors to make them brighter?
Probably El Guapo. I just have to figure out how to do that. LOL!!!
