Head over heels

If you were to ask me what type of photography I do, I would have to say every kind, but you will probably notice over time that I do lean towards taking pictures of wildlife.  Living in a rural area, I find there is no shortage of wildlife as well as farm animals.  I think they are all beautiful, especially the babies, and I will go to great lengths to get that perfect shot.  Today’s picture is one of those cases.  I was driving down a backroad to work when I noticed a farmer had his sheep out in the field.  It was lamb season, and I saw this little one and fell in love!

However, a skirt and high heels don’t mix with a slippery, muddy ditch (which I ignored), and I ended up rolling head over heels down to the bottom.  Obviously, though, I kept my camera up in the air, out of danger, as I fell (LOL).  My clothes were a little worse for wear when when I arrived at work, but it was so worth it!  What I love most about this shot is how he is looking over his shoulder at me.  This has always been one of my favourite photos.  This is the original, too, without any editing.  I know it is probably a little too centred and could use some touching up in Photoshop, but I still love it!

I love this shot! I wouldn’t change it a bit. Photoshop-ing it would take away the natural feel of it! Too bad about your tumble in the ditch… but part of me wants to ask why you did not have a video running! Now THAT would have been a shot to win awards! LOL
